Joyous Rhapsody string ensemble has performed in the Houston and Huntsville areas since 1998. They play regularly at weddings, church events, nursing homes, and other private events. Each year they perform at area malls and at Old Town Spring. They have provided pre-concert music for groups such as the Kingwood Pops Orchestra and the Symphony North of Houston. They have performed for the Singing Men of Texas, NASA Astronauts, and Rosemarie Von Trapp (of the Von Trapp Family Singers).
